This product relies on infrared sensors to avoid obstacles and cannot recognize walls/furniture edges if they are black. For obstacles of other colours, it can identify and avoid them
For thin carpets, the robot vacuum will roll up the carpet. If it is a large carpet, set up a magnetic virtual wall under the carpet. If it is a small rug, put it away before cleaning. Always put away the wires and rugs while using the cleaner.
