SensaSwitch, Overflow Control Alarm (Model - OCA) sounds a musical melody alarm when water tank reaches full level. It is fully safe to use, need no periodic maintenance and is very easy to install.

     

Fully Safe

SensaSwitch overflow alarm has transformer based power supply for fool proof insulation from mains. In addition to this, sensaswitch alarm device circuits has built in safety features which use very minute signal to sense water in water tank.

No Maintenance

SensaSwitch water sensors do not need cleaning or maintenance due to superior sensing circuits. SensaSwitch sensors also do not rust or erode due to superior design made to withstand high heat, humidity and hardness found in roof top water tanks.

Easy to Install

It needs only basic electrical know how and tools to install this device. To make things easier to understand and install, sensaswitch also provides demo videos and documents (pdf) with installation and connections diagrams.

How to connect input power?

Connect With Supply Socket

SensaSwitch-OCA input power wires (white cable) can be connected to power using plug and socket. This is easiest way to connect alarm input power but not the best way, especially when you are using water pump motor to fill water tank. You will need to switch the alarm ON before starting pump motor and will also need to switch OFF the pump motor, on getting alarm sound at tank full. This separate alarm ON/OFF hassle can be avoided with recommended connections >>

Connect With Pump Supply

It is best to connect alarm input with pump motor supply, if the pump motor is being operated with switch and socket setting. When connected this way, alarm will come ON as soon as you switch the pump motor ON and the alarm will go OFF when you will switch motor OFF on getting alarm sound at tank full. So you need not bother about making alarm ON/OFF. It also increases life of alarm and saves electricity.

Connect With Starter Output

Many pumps, especially submersible pumps are operated from starter box. The starter box has power input (N & P) and power output (R, Y & B) terminals for motor wires (R- red, Y-Yellow, B-Blue). Alarm input has to be connected at out R & B of starter. ON connecting this way alarm will start and stop with pump motor. In case you need any more help, please contact sensaswitch helpline.

How to connect water sensors?

Let the water sensors hang freely, just below overflow level, so that both sensors get dipped in water on water reaching full level.

Keep a gap of 1-2 inches (up/down) between water sensors, so that water sensors do not touch each other while hanging in water tank.

Alarm sound will start when both water sensors get dipped in water. The water sensors provided are for raw (un-processed) water.

• Install alarm device at a place which is safe from rain and water splashes.
• Place water sensors in water tank near full level.
• Connect water sensors with alarm by using extra wire.
• Test by dipping water sensors in water.
